Music Against Wildlife Extinction

MORE INFO

Philadelphia's Kurt Vile is making his return to Australia, performing songs from his six-album songbook solo under the stars supported by Mick Turner at Zoo Twilights.

Stemming from a childhood spent with a banjo in hand, Kurt Vile's unique brand of hazy indie-rock has seen an upward trajectory from his debut solo album Constant Hitmaker (2008) to his latest b'lieve i'm goin down... (2015) as well as two albums as founding member of The War On Drugs. His latest LP features the incredible single 'Pretty Pimpin', which The Guardian called "a great summation of his ingenious-weirdo appeal."

Mick Turner will be performing his highly acclaimed solo work at Zoo Twilights. He has had a dynamic and celebrated career as founding member of Dirty Three and simultaneously with his solo project, releasing four LPs on the iconic US label Drag City (Bill Callahan, Joanna Newsom, Ty Segall) with The Australian labelling him "one of Australia's most distinctive guitarists."

Kurt Vile is proud to be performing in support of Zoos Victoria's fight against wildlife extinction.
