In The Dark & Fluffy Presents GLAM [KLUB KIDS EDITION] Starring Amanda Lepore, Vivacious & Acid Betty Sunday 1st October 2017 (Queens Birthday Long Weekend)

Fluffy is proud to celebrate the Klub Kids' iconic legacy by dedicating a night to what has kept this movement relevant for decades. Headliners include Rupaul's Drag Race Queens of Shock ACID BETTY and VIVACIOUS, along with the iconic muse that is AMANDA LEPORE!

With it's tendency for flamboyance and outrageousness, the legendary movement that is the Club Kids Culture has continued to shock and inspire for decades after it's inception in the late 80's and early 90's. In 1988, writer Michael Musto described the Club Kids' as a "cult of crazy fashion and petulance", saying that they "are terminally superficial, have dubious aesthetic values, and are master manipulators, exploiters, and, thank God, partiers." Finding it's roots within New York City's underground club culture, the club kids proved themselves to be a definitive force, with several members having made long-lasting contributions to mainstream art and fashion. According to former Club Kid "Walt Paper" Cassidy, "The nightclub for me was like a laboratory, a place where you were encouraged and rewarded for experimentation."
