After years of writing, recording, international touring, single releases, movie projects, a popular TV series, collabs and mixing it with some of the more interesting characters in the music world, Kid Mac is about to release his 2nd album - Head Noise.

Hailing from Sydney's south, Kid Mac has carved a name for himself in the Australian music scene with a sound that sets him apart from other artists. With lyrics that capture the experiences of today's youth, super catchy sing along melodies, dance floor beats and a fine-tuned live presence, Kid Mac is setting himself up to be one of Australia's future influential figures.

Mac first album 'No Man's Land' saw him in the studio writing and working alongside Melbourne-based producers Twice As Nice. The release of first single 'Freedom' set the scene, collaborations with acts like Mat McHugh (The Beautiful Girls) on hugely popular track 'Hear You Calling' and the releases of crowd favorites like 'Nobody Sleep Nobody Get Hurt', 'She Goes Off', and 'Lunatic' carried the album far and wide.

Outside the studio, Mac has been hitting the touring circuit with his 3 piece band in tow - blowing up dance floors here and overseas including supports for US artist Mickey Avalon, Brazil's Marcelo D2, The Beautiful Girls, Bliss N Eso, The Game and a personal request from RZA to join Wu Tang Clan's Australian tour. All this plus several of his own headline shows, appearances at Playground Weekender Festival and Ripe Festivals, a Best Urban Artist 2010 at the MusicOz Awards, and 2012 Artist Of The Year has seen Kid Mac's fan-base grow and arsenal of tracks build and strengthen.

Now, a year later Kid Mac is due to release Head Noise on October 18 2013. Head Noise - a personal inward journey of the busy heart and mind - written and produced by Kid Mac, was recorded with Ryan Enright in his Bondi Beach studio on and mixed by Scott Horscroft (Silverchair, Birds of Tokyo, The Presets, The Sleepy Jackson, The Panics, Little Red) at Archangelsky Studios in Mangrove Creek. The only feature artist on the record is long time friend and tour partner, Perth based UK beat box maestro Sam Perry.
