On September 2 Adelaide’s internationally acclaimed, Kaurna (Gar-Nur) Cronin, will release his second studio album, SOUTHERN LOSS and today he released a string of national Australian tour dates in support of the album.

Following his stellar 2015 debut album, Glass Fool, which saw Kaurna Cronin tour Australia, Europe and the USA, and awarded the prestigious Folk Alliance Australia 'Artist Of The Year'; SOUTHERN LOSS is an album bathed in homage to the land Cronin calls home.
Set deep in Australian culture and euphemisms, SOUTHERN LOSS is strongly rooted in nostalgic storytelling beautifully carved into pop-orientated folk arrangements, lead by a wordsmith and musician beyond his years.

Cronin shares uncannily familiar tales of a youth spent on an Australian backdrop. Stories that revel in revealing undiscovered locations, hidden identities and untold desires; as his lyrics embark on scenic journeys and invoke imagery of undulating urban lifestyles contrasted against the Australian burnt red soil strewn across the desert roads.
Recorded in the hand built studios of Adelaide's Mixmasters Studios by legendary engineer Mick Worley (The Angles, Amanda Palmer, Jeff Lang, John Schumann). SOUTHERN LOSS hosts a collection of Adelaide's most influential musicians, including Tom Kneebone and Kiah Gossner (The Bearded Gypsy Band/Conchillia), Delia Obst, David Resce, Laura Knowling and many others.
