Katy Steele has just touched down on home soil, but for how long though is anyone's guess. After a few years spent stateside writing, recording and playing shows mainly around New York, Brooklyn based Katy is heading back to Sydney for one very special show at the Basement.

Showcasing new material penned by Katy from her travels you'll get the chance to witness this unique performer in full force with band and choir. The show so far has been described as being 'immensely powerful' and 'simply stunning'.

This will be a must see show for any fan of Little Birdy as you will witness that unmistakable voice coupled with the chance to hear her new songs live for the first time before a debut release in 2015.

Katy explains 'While overseas I felt almost like a hunter in the wilderness, searching and searching, but like any challenge you find a strength you didn't know existed. I've walked into this new world as a warrior and the songs speak about my battles and triumphs as a human in modern times. I'm really looking forward to the Basement show and showing Sydney something they've never seen from me before"
