Australian singer-songwriter KATHRYN HARTNETT launches her brand new EP 'Arctic Fire' this September. Hartnett returns in 2017 with a strong and confident rock sound built on a solid framework of catchy guitar riffs, tight basslines and punchy drums showcased on tracks like Letting Go, Running and Cloud Nine. Taking inspiration from the '90s rock and grunge bands blasted by her brothers during her youth (think Guns 'n' Roses and Pearl Jam) as well as iconic women of Australian rock (think Sarah McLeod and Chrissie Amphlett), Kathryn's evolution as an artist continues with her new band featuring David Baird (bass) and Jared Cush (drums).
