In stores and available today is the highly anticipated third studio album from Kate Miller-Heidke, Nightflight. Fans will be given the chance to see Kate perform tracks from her new album when she takes her full band around the country in August on the Nightflight tour with special support act, The Beards.

Following double-platinum sales from her last album (2008s Curiouser), Nightflight is made up of 11 songs which see Kate meditate on homesickness, mortality, love and surrender, in an album that is both sonically lush and emotionally stark, deeply personal and yet utterly panoramic. 

Everything Ive ever done has been a reaction against the previous thing, Kate says. Nightflight is definitely a more vulnerable and exposed record than anything Ive done before. If Curiouser was a playful, dysfunctional adolescent, Nightflight is more like a damaged, melancholy person in her late 20s. With Nightflight, we wanted something darker and more organic, more beautiful and more expansive. 

The last three years have taken the Australian artist across the world - from Australia to Asia, the US and UK, audiences have been mesmerised and transformed by the extraordinary talent that is Kate Miller-Heidke. Performing at Coachella and Lilith Festivals in the US and joining Ben Folds on over 100 shows in the US, UK & Europe, Kate has just returned to Australia following her performance in The Death Of Klinghoffer for the English National Opera.
