For the better half of 2017 now, a handful like-minded Sydney based musicians have been working together to reverse the damage done to live music culture at a local level. With an emphasis on a community-based approach to the industrial side of artist development, Vandida has provided a platform for unsigned bands and soloists to find themselves playing impressive live shows alongside more established names. As well as assisting emerging artists with the know-how on getting a leg-up in the industry, Vandida has been responsible for bringing developed artists to remote rural venues that otherwise wouldn't host original music, or live music at all.

The project now runs regular nights at 5 different venues across the greater Sydney region, and has a catalogue of over 40 bands who receive free support with artist development, social media marketing and live bookings.

To celebrate this collaborative project officially getting off the ground, Vandida is hosting an intimate showcase with a hand-picked selection of Sydney talent at the iconic Oxford Art Factory's Gallery Bar.
