Event Details

It is with great excitement that Julia Jacklin announces her return back to local shores this November, ready to embark on her most extensive Australian tour yet.

With the release of her masterful debut LP, Don't Let The Kids Win just around the corner (Oct 7), the 12 dates will see the rising star from the Blue Mountains grace several cities for the first time. Supported by triple j, the national album tour will bring Julia's intimate songs to life as she sets out to allure audiences in her largest rooms so far.

Julia + band are currently in the middle of a huge global tour that includes performances at some of the world's major festivals including the UK's End Of The Road and Electric Picnic. She's also sharing stages with buzz acts, Marlon Williams and Whitney, plus playing headline shows in London, Dublin, Berlin Rotterdam, NYC and LA just to name a few. 2016 has already seen Julia acquire praise from performances at SXSW and The Great Escape, which projected her onto the world stage and lead to international record deals with Liberation, Transgressive and Polyvinyl Records.

The charming beauty bestowed within Julia's rich voice and unique storytelling has seen her songs, Coming Of Age, Leadlight and Pool Party added to radio playlists across the globe, receiving strong support from triple j and community radio, plus Radio 1, BBC 6 and Apple Music UK, who named her their 'Best New Artist' of the week.

As we await Julia's arrival with open arms, we can view a beautifully poised live performance of her current single, Coming Of Age. Filmed by Mushroom at her sold-out Melbourne show in July, it's a charming insight into her entrancing live show.
