JP Klipspringer launches his debut full length album, 'Brutal Politic', at the Toff in Town on Saturday November 19. The hometown launch party is one of half a dozen stops on a tour that will see JP and his band take their unique form of Melbourne indie up and down the country's east coast.
The debut record comes off the back of two EPs and a slew of infectious singles, with prominent Melbourne producers Stephen Mowat, Rohan Sforcina and Simon Lam combining forces to help craft a record that's as sweet as it is arresting; as self-deprecating as it is toe-tapping. 'Brutal Politic' builds on Klipspringer's reputation as a writer of intelligent and substantial pop songs that demand multiple listens, and his loud and energetic live show is not to be missed.
