JOSHUA BATTEN 'SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS' ALBUM LAUNCH

Melbourne-based Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist JOSHUA BATTEN will be releasing his debut mini-album "Searching For Answers" on April 21, 2017.
 
Containing 6 tracks and clocking in at just under 30 minutes, Batten has ensured that every song stands up on its own with a unique sound and story. While the main genre represented is Classic Blues Rock, elements of Folk, Prog and Funk have been represented as well. Topics covered in the lyrics include manipulation, betrayal, desires for human compassion and technology dependence.
 
Batten will be launching the album with a special show at Revolver Bandroom, backed up by his band BATTEN DOWN and featuring special guests throughout the set.
 
Supporting Joshua and Batten Down will be THE RETROSPECTS. Made up of musicians who have been a part of the scene for years, The Retrospects are a new band with a whole lot of groovy music to give. Keeping true to their name, the songs are retrospective in nature and always tell a story without holding back.
