Film composer Ian Laurence presents Sydney's two best a cappella choirs in the traditional African American Gospel genre: JONAH & THE WAILERS, the big 50 voice choir, and THE ELEMENTALS, (20 voices including several hot soloists!).

Both choirs have recorded 8 CDs live at The Basement in as many years.  

THE BASEMENT with JONAH & THE WAILERS and THE ELEMENTALS usually books out for dinner & show leaving standing room only, so book early.

Some Dinner & Show Bookings may be on a shared table. Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
