Whether writing and producing songs, performing his music, or hanging out with his two daughters, Nashville-based singer-songwriter, Jon McLaughlin puts passion into everything he does.
McLaughlin has released six albums and over the years, this piano-rock musician has collaborated with fellow artists such as Sara Bareilles, Demi Lovato, and NeedtoBreathe as well as sharing the stage with artists including Kelly Clarkson, Adele, OneRepublic, Bon Jovi, and Duffy. In 2014, a dream came true when Jon even supported the legendary piano man himself, Billy Joel
Jon has provided songs for television shows, such as M adam Secretary, Chicago Fire a nd S o You Think You Can Dance. In addition to contributing music to major Hollywood films, including B ridge to Terabithia and G eorgia Rule, M cLaughlin earned an on-screen appearance and performance in the Oscar-nominated Disney film, E nchanted, a nd went on to sing "So Close," live at the 8 0th Academy Awards.
Filled with "infectious and catchy piano-driven melodies" (E at Sleep Breathe Music ), his new album, L ike Us h as already garnered attention from notable media outlets, such as T he Huffington Post, Entertainment Tonight and P erez Hilton, w ith the latter referring to McLaughlin as "charming as hell with a buttery voice to match." W hile on a national tour in support of the album this past fall, the devoted family man partnered with charity World Vision, to build safe houses for children in Bangladesh to help them escape human trafficking.
