In a world full of gifted and respected young songwriters, it is hard to stand out from the pack, so when two Artists do, you know it’s got to be special.

Enter Joe Pug and Courtney Marie Andrews who will tour Australia and New Zealand together in July 2017.

They will play intimate shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Meeniyan, Adelaide, Wellington and Auckland as well as Bello Winter Music in Bellingen.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now.

Chicago born and raised Joe Pug is no stranger to this part of the world and makes a welcome return to headline shows after coming down for 2016's Out On the Weekend festival. His third and critically acclaimed album Windfall, a 10-song indie-folk gem that has cemented his reputation as one of America's most respected young songwriters, was met with high praise with The Australian describing it as "absolutely brilliant." As Paste Magazine commented, "Windfall is an album about not just the broken moments and uphill climbs that shape life, but how to exist in those moments, how to draw on core strengths and adapt, how to live through it all and come out stronger." We all agreed and you will hear tunes from this, his back catalogue and new tunes and covers come July.

Touring with Joe will be the last Love Police discovery, Courtney Marie Andrews. At just 16 years old, Andrews left home in Arizona for her first tour. Travelling up and down the West Coast of the USA, busking and playing anywhere that would have her. Soon after, she took a Greyhound bus four nights straight from Phoenix to New York to do the same on the East Coast. For a decade or so since, Courtney's been a session and backup singer and guitarist for nearly 40 artists, including Damien Jurado. She never stopped writing her own material, though. Picking up admirers like Jurado and Ryan Adams along the way, she has quietly earned a reputation as a songwriter's songwriter. Her 2016 album release 'Honest Life' has been praised by media universally with the UK's Daily Telegraph saying "the poetic economy of her lyrics is right up there with such masters of the country vignette as Guy Clark and John Prine...a truly substantial talent." That's some big associations right there.

Joe Pug and Courtney Marie Andrews. Two sensational talents gracing the one stage for a great night of music and discovery. Don't miss them this July.
