Less than a year on from the release of his debut EP Ocean, prolific young Adelaide musician Jesse Davidson is marking his return. His timing couldn't be better, having recently made his triple j Hottest 100 debut as the guest vocalist on Japanese Wallpaper's hit 'Between Friends', and mesmerizing crowds at the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival.

'Laika' is the first taste of Jesse's forthcoming sophomore EP, set to drop in May. With its sparkling synth flourishes, snappy drum patterns and always impressive guitar arrangements, the new single is an impressive return to form for the teenager who continues to defy belief and expectation with his prodigious talent.

It comes following a year in which Ocean garnered rave reviews and frequent comparisons to Jeff Buckley and Grizzly Bear, while lead single 'Big Bois Gotta Eat' shimmered eerily and constantly on the triple j airwaves.

To celebrate his return, Jesse is hitting the road at the end of the month. The 'Laika' tour will take in dates along the East Coast and Jesse's beloved hometown, with a new look three-piece band.
