Charades & Funf present to you, two of the most influential artists that are found at the roots of the movement otherwise known as techno, we truly mean it when we say we are honoured to have the opportunity to host JEFF MILLS & DERRICK MAY!   We also have special guest SECRET CINEMA added to the bill and some of Sydney's finest including Simon Caldwell, Magda Bytnerowicz, Matthew Lush, Kali, Dave Stuart, Co-Op & U-Khan.  

Piknic electronik TICKET HOLDERS PLEASE READ

We will honour any ticket holders for this event so we look forward to having you at this event, alternatively, if you wish to request a refund, please contact Piknic electronik by Friday 22 January.   We searched high and low to try find an alternative option on such short notice to put on a day event on a Sunday, we looked at multiple different sites and venues to no avail, and then we realised we had something sitting right under our nose.

A space that still carries the open air element with a killer Nexo sound system and on Sundays, the court yard sits empty and ready to host up to 1200+ stompers.   If you remember a few years back, we hosted Marcel Dettmann with the SASH crew and it was one of the biggest events we have ever put on. In his own words, Marcel said "this is one the most beautiful venues I have ever performed in" - so if the Berghain juggernaut himself gave it the tick of approval, we thought why not host two similarly prophetic legends there this time around too.  

The alternative would be no Sydney show at all, and I'm sure you can agree with us that this would be very sad indeed. Besides, being a Sunday, it means we can run the space with our crowd, our music, and OUR RULES!
