Proudly carrying on his family’s rockin’ musical legacy, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Jake Clemons, embarks on his first Australian Tour in support of his debut self-released EP “Embracing Light”.

Fresh off completing the "Wrecking Ball Tour" with The E Street Band, Clemons embarked on a number of sold out dates in the U.S. and two weeks of performances in Ireland to coincide with the release of his debut EP "Embracing Light". After debuting three songs from his EP on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (accompanied by The Roots) and performing his single "You Must Be Crazy" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jake is now announcing a string of exclusive intimate shows along Australia's East-Coast as part of his Embracing Light Tour.

The multi-talented singer, songwriter, saxophonist and guitarist is the nephew of the late legendary E Street saxophonist Clarence ("The Big Man"). Clemons and has received media acclaim for his debut work Embracing Light having self produced the EP with 3 songs co-produced by Brian Million ("You Must Be Crazy," "Song For Hope" and "Without"). The EP was recorded at MSR Studios (NYC), Clay Garden Studios (Norfolk, VA) and Soul Haven Studios (Virginia Beach, VA) and features five powerful original tracks.

Opening the set with the horn drenched "Song For Hope," Clemons explores different aspects of his rich artistry with the spirited, easy jangling "You Must Be Crazy," the hypnotic, high energy rocker "Without" and the soulful and bluesy reflection on "Embracing Light." "Carry Me Through' finishes the EP and features Clemons playing both the guitar and saxophone, rounding out the collection with an intimate acoustic confession.

In addition to Million's guitar, the EP features performances by Brett Mayer (piano, organ, backing vocals), Matt Musty (drums, backing vocals), Jason Crowgey (bass, backing vocals), Ryan Gleason (bass), Jake Hull (guitar) and Michael Westbrook (pedal steel, acoustic and electric guitar on the title track).

Described as "the mysterious, rugged side of Johnny Cash [mixed] with the soulful down to earth love child of Bruce Springsteen and Clarence Clemons", Jake Clemons' sound is reminiscent of some of our greatest musical talents -- yet Jake brings something to the table that is solely his own.

Jake studied jazz performance at the Virginia Governor's School for the Arts and has already shared the stage with a multitude of incredible artists including The Swell Season, The Roots and Eddie Vedder. "I need to be where I engage people," says the constantly performing artist. "That's where I flourish". Jake's much anticipated tour of Australian cities is something he has wanted to do for some time. "I cannot wait to get to Australia and play these songs to an appreciative audience. I had such a great time there with Bruce and The E Street band."
