A classically-trained composer turned alternative pop-star, Jack Colwell is due to release his debut album, Picture Window. The album was recorded at Sydney's Studio Ripple, which also birthed forthcoming releases from Lanie Lane and Cloud Control.

Colwell describes Picture Window as chamber pop, but the album explores a great many sounds and after debuting his latest single Captains Melody with Rainbow Chan at the Conservatorium of Music in an orchestral setting, Colwell returns for an intimate and dark evening at Sydneys indie haunt GoodGod with folk Brother Packwood and wunderkinds Moon Holiday setting the tone and DJ duo Glamour Attack leaving the aftertaste.
