As the Melbourne International Jazz Festival approaches our own Monday night cult of wild rhythm, feverish saxophone and unrestrained hysterics descends upon Sydney Road. J A Z Z P A R T Y returns to Monday Nights in June, bringing its processional to The Spotted Mallard.

Join Darcy McNulty and his disciples for a frenzied night of loose behaviour, slow grinding, hot dancing and cold beer. Starring your J A Z Z P A R T Y favourites; Hue Blanes, Jules Pascoe and the incendiary vocal styling's of Loretta Miller, JP will be joined by Brisbane's beloved heartbreaker Lachlan Mitchel on guitar.

Surprise guest appearances courtesy of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival still to be announced! Featuring local DJs China Bone and Ginger Light spinning the best party bangers from dusk till dawn. Music starts at 8pm and will continue early on into Tuesday morning.

Made for the bar room not the ballroom, Jazz Party is a loose collective of jazzbos known for their sporadic take-over residences in unassuming rooms across Melbourne. Playing a slippery mix of jump blues, boogie, and rhythm n blues la New Orleans. Shouting, drinking and slow dancing with strangers all encouraged.
Darcy McNulty, Jules Pascoe and Loretta Miller are all former members of Clairy Browne & the Bangin Rackettes.
