After a period of eerie quietness, Melbourne's I, VALIANCE has reared its delicious head back into life, with the release of the first installment of their self-titled debut album, aptly titled 'PART I'.

The first in a trilogy of ridiculously juicy, groove laden, brutality - you'll quickly realize that I, VAL have been far from asleep.

'PART I' draws on a wide variety of influences and sounds such as gravy, baby blue, 2 minute noodles, Slipknot (but not Stonesour - except for 30/30-150) and air conditioning. The album can best be described as one that appeals to anyone who is a human being or marsupial.

To present this new birth to the world I, VALIANCE are heading out on the road under the aptly titled 'R3BIRTH' tour.

Starting on 'PART I''s release date (3/3), and following with Adelaide (10/3), Sydney (16/3) & Brisbane (17/3), the bands agent apologizes for booking 4 shows, when such of the lead up has been based around the number 3.

Joining I VALIANCE on this jaunt, is much lauded DREGG. Fresh of their ripping performance at UNIFY, their live show is something to behold and local guests 23/19 & Mauvais
