Melbourne Music Week and I OH YOU present I OH YOU 4TH BIRTHDAY PARTY at Flagstaff Station. Featuring Yacht Club DJs, Gold Fields, Northeast Party House, City Calm Down, Neon Love (One-Off Reunion Show), SNKDKTL DJs, Indian Summer.

What happens when you give a couple of infamous house party overlords the keys to a train station? An all-in, sound slamming, underground dance party, that's what.

Home to the likes of DZ Deathrays, Violent Soho, and Snakadaktal, I Oh You began four years ago when four housemates received the final notice for an overdue gas bill. To raise funds, they threw a party with an entry donation. The housemates quickly discovered that throwing parties was the most fun way to pay their bills, and that they wanted to continue doing just that... they also decided to form a record label. Since then, I Oh You have developed a long list of local acts on their roster, and promoted tours for some of the most promising international acts.

In this remarkable first and only event of its kind, I Oh You are laying siege to the extraordinary Flagstaff Train Station Concourse, transforming the space with a mass of projections and a kaleidoscope of sound.

Iconic party-starter kings, Yacht Club DJs will be leading the charge with their dance-inducing mash-ups. Tidy pop-hooks and tribal dance rhythms of Gold Fields will bounce across the concourse, while Northeast Party House will provide their alt-dance indie tunes which have seen them win the hearts of many around the country. Also featuring will be the eclectic ghetto-meets-funk beats from Indian Summer, and effortless dance pop from City Calm Down will shudder and swoon from wall to floor. Much-loved/missed Ballarat based Neon Love will return to play a one-off reunion show and SNKDKTL DJs will be rounding out the bill by spinning tunes between the bands, in this all aboard of Victoria's outright party masters.
