It's been just two weeks since HUNTING GROUNDS unleashed their hypnotic new single 'FLAWS' on the world, in that time the single has notched up rotation adds on triple j, Radar Radio and a plethora of community radio stations as well as garnering some serious blog attention online both locally and internationally. In true HUNTING GROUNDS style never wanting to do anything by half the boys are straight out of the gate and ready to announce that they will hit the road this August on a 13 DATE NATIONAL TOUR in support of their debut album release 'IN HINDSIGHT'.
Presented by triple j and MESS & NOISE 'THE IN HINDSIGHT TOUR' will kick off August 3rd on the Gold Coast and will take in all major capital cities as well as a stack of regional stops including Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Wollongong, Bunbury and of course hometown Ballarat. Tickets for the tour go ON SALE at 9am on THURSDAY JUNE 14 and are set to sell swiftly as this will be the boys first headline tour in over two years.
HUNTING GROUNDS are also super pumped to announce that good mates and all round nice guys GUNG HO will join them as main support for the 'IN HINDSIGHT TOUR' (Gung Ho not appearing in SA or WA).Hailing from Brisbane, GUNG HO are a couple of young upstarts who produce a well-oiled blend of surf pop with attitude. Their explosively precise live set has granted them the chance to play alongside of some of Australia's best live acts. Current single 'Side by Side' has already found a comfy spot on rotation at triple j. With the HG and GH powers combined there is one thing that can be assured on the 'IN HINDSIGHT TOUR' - It's gonna be one hell of a PARTY!
With under a month until the release of 'IN HINDSIGHT' on July 6th things are certainly ramping up for the Ballarat sextet. Last week saw the one and only OPRAH WINFREY publicly revealthe front cover artwork for 'IN HINDSIGHT' to the world. And what do HUNTING GROUNDS have to say about the first lady of day-time TV's involvement and public affection for them "Ha yeah, Oprah loves us!" Don't believe us? Check it out for yourself right here.
