HOCKEY DAD RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'CAN'T HAVE THEM'

Hockey Dad are today excited to announce the release of their brand new single titled Can't Have Them. Following on from the recent success of I Need A Woman, the track continues to highlight the bands gritty but melodic brand of surf influenced rock. Fresh off the back of a national tour supporting DZ Deathrays, the band are also excited to announce they will be touring the east coast this coming June taking on headline shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Wollongong.

Can't Have Them was recorded and mixed by Wade Keighran (The Scare, Wolf & Cub) and will be released digitally on March 27 via Farmer & The Owl / Inertia before being released on vinyl as a AA side 7" in June.

It has been a big 12 months for Zach Stephenson (guitar/vocals) and Billy Fleming (drums). Their Tom Iansek (Big Scary, #1 Dads) produced single I Need A Woman saw the band achieving airplay on stations such as FBi Radio and triple j, with the band eventually going on to win triple j Unearthed awarding them a hotly contested slot on Falls Festival Byron Bay over the new year. This in addition to the band touring with the likes of DZ Deathrays, and Bad//Dreems has set the band up for a huge 2015.
