Now that he reset button has been pressed, HITMEN DTK have started writing a new album, the first in 28 years! As a prelude to the album, they will be releasing the first of their new originals called GET UP.

The soul of the song is about getting up off your ass and using rock n roll music as an escape, no matter what you're feeling in life, good or bad or depressed or happy. Whatever.. push yourself...just Get Up and trust in the music to lift you. Johnny Kannis use to tell the Radio Birdman fans at the shows, "Let me hear you say "Yeah Hup" and they would explode with their fists up in the air yelling Yeah Hup. Well, now we're telling our fans, the war isn't over "You can put your fist up in the air" - "When it gets to that stage we don't care" "So get up, you're fed up, show us that you really care" - "you can put your fist up in the air"

"We use to bend over backwards for labels... doing as they said because they thought they always knew best. No label ever "got us" but now it's time to reclaim some of those lost years and do what we feel is right (for us)... with the unwavering support and belief of our new label Alchemy Music Group and our producer Sammy Kannis (who "gets us"), we have become much stronger and more accountable to each other as a Group. Following their successful show at The Basement launching their brand new minialbum "SIX PISTOLS", HITMEN DTK would like to invite you all along to the Leadbelly in Newtown, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd of June where the band will be launching their brand new "original" single, "Get Up" - our first original song release in over 28 years!

You will be blown away by some surprise support bands who will be announced shortly!
