Described as somewhere between 'Mazzy Star meets Souxie & The Banshees", Hayley Couper Band blend elements of psychedelic, dreamy pop and moody rock.
Originally from Hobart, the band launched themselves into the Melbourne music scene in 2010, promptly landing the Triple J Unearthed title and as well as playing Falls Festival 10/11.
The band recently team up with producer Woody Annison (Children Collide, Red Riders, Hunting Grounds) to record 'Turn to Wolves', a superb five track EP that perfectly captures Couper's (Hayley's) haunting voice, while each song extends itself with honesty and energy as the band transform the sound into a wonderful state of dark and dreamy rock.
Having previously packed out Melbourne venues with hypnotic live shows, this extra special show is not to be missed! Hayley Couper Band will be launching their wonderfully dark and dreamy EP 'Turn to Wolves' at the Toff In Town, Thursday July 19th, with great support from Lowtide and Baptsim of Uzi.
