Hartway, comprising of Conor and Jack, are a young house duo who officially joined forces last year. Both aged in their 20s, they bring a fresh perspective to classic groove-based music, incorporating live saxophone and keys into what they do.

After spending time in the studio with Luke Million and Oisima, 'Beyond (feat. Lesley Willams)' is Hartway's prerelease single from their highly anticipated 'Motions' EP.

With mesmerising saxophone melodies played over smooth electronic beats, Hartway create a warm, exciting and upbeat vibe that can be indulged by both listeners and dancers alike. Having performed together in several different ensembles over the last eight years, the duo have developed a tight on-stage chemistry. With Conor's technical knowledge combined with Jack's instrumental prowess, the Hartway duo share a vision of creating electronic music that can truly be performed live and in the moment.

Hartway's live performance involves the ever-soulful sound of the saxophone played over the live reconstruction of original acid-jazz, house and nu-disco beats. The beatsmith of the pair, Conor, delivers the music through live drumming on an Alesis sample pad, and live keyboard playing on his Novation controller. Through their intricate live effects setup, the duo are able to feature live-looping on the fly, and build towards the creation of beautiful saxophone harmonies. In Hartway's latest performances, they've also seen the inclusion of live flute playing by Jack (of all trades), adding a unique, organic essence to their sound.
