Founded in 2009 by Rap-obsessed DJs Levins, Captain Franco and Elston, for the last five years the HALFWAY CROOKS crew have treated their adoring crowd to a well-rounded mix of new Hip Hop hits and forgotten classics from the East Coast, West Coast and Southern USA.

Now, for their first Vivid Music show, Crooks will be joined by some of their favourite local artists, to help celebrate this city's great talent. Performing live, the man, the voice, the social media mogul Joyride. A member of the One Day Crew (alongside Spit Syndicate, Horrorshow and Jackie Onassis), Joyride has been busy lately releasing three EP's and collaborating with the likes of Hermitude, Drapht, Urthboy, Illy. Joining in on the fun, will be Nina Las Vegas and Bad Ezzy of the infamous Hoops collective, two of Australia's most sought after party DJ's! And, to round out the festivities the night will be hosted by buzzing local MC, B Wise.
