Tribute To Garrie Paterson

Adelaide acts New Season Black, One Way Out, The Vampirates, Embured, Enola's Secret, Wishlist and Flagfall have all reunited to perform a one time show to honour and tribute to fallen dear friend Garrie Paterson.

Proceeds from this event will assist to set up a foundation in honour of Garrie to provide musical instruments to children in need.

One Way Out and New Season Black came to rise in the early to late 2000's and grew as formidable forces in the local Adelaide and wider Australian punk rock scenes.

One Way Out ooze the feel good catch vibes of so-Cal pop punk. Having released two EPs 'self-titled' on hardcore label 618 records and 'running fast, headed nowhere' released on Resist records, the band consistently toured and supported a range of international bands including Strung Out (US), No Use For A Name (US), Less Than Jake (US) and Bodyjar (AUS).

The band features the relentless skills of ex 28 Days drummer Vince Jukic.

New Season Black's sound screams emotion and technicality in every essence.

NSB formed in 2006 hit the ground running with their debut show being Adelaide's first Myspace Secret Show, featuring 28 Days and Behind Crimson Eyes.
Their 'Fate of the Fallen' EP encompasses songs with deep meaning, exceptional harmonies and amazing riffs. NSB arrived at a time in Adelaide to provide something unique to the alternative rock scene.

With Regular airplay on Triple J, the song Surrender (Drop the gun) helped New Season Black win the Triple J unearthed which lead to them playing to the masses at Taste of Chaos and the 2008 Big Day Out. NSB supported major international acts Rise Against (US), The Used (US), Rage Against The Machine (US) and Silverchair (AUS) to name a few.

The Vampirates intense hardcore sound gained the attention of Kevin Call of Comeback Kid, who worked closely with the band to produce the 2009 EP 'Cast Aside' which charted in the ARIA Alternative Charts and has achieved regular airplay on national broadcaster Triple J. This exposure has allowed The Vampirates to tour in support of their E.P with some major international acts Have Heart (US) Bury Your Dead (US) & Poison The Well (US).

Embured are the spark that ignited the Adelaide underground music scene. Their catchy and uniquely written songs and stage presence developed a strong following. Band members of Embured are reuniting one more time to share the stage with The Vampirates and are forces to be reckoned with.

Pop punk outfit Wishlist formed in the early 2000's supporting local acts One Way Out (AUS), I killed the Prom queen (AUS) and went on to Form Enola's Secret in March 2007. Enola's Secret Shared the stage during the mid to late 2000's with international acts All Time Low (US), The Used (US), Rise Against (US) and Aiden (US). Enolas Secret bring the vibes of the early century back in business. Their comeback will have people chomping at the bit to come along.

Flagfall originally formed by Garrie Paterson will bring a zest and freshness with traditional punk rock roots as a band led by Garrie himself.
