Gallie ventures north of the river performing at 'The Spotted Mallard on December 3rd 2016.

Following the sell-out launch of his debut album 'The Occoquan River' at MEMO in 2015, and his highly successful East Coast Tour Gallie and his band will perform for the first time north of the Yarra.

His sublime lyrics and tremendous melodies sung with a voice that is both soulful and incredibly expressive earned his debut album rave reviews in Australia and America.

In the short time he has called Australia his home, he has crashed into the Australian music industry's consciousness - making it to a number of the media's "best of the year lists" including: the Top 16 track of the year, Paul Gough, Inside Sleeve, Radio National; Top 15 album of the year Brian Wise, Off The Record, Triple R; Top 4 Album of the year Stuart Coupe, Dirt Music 2SER Sydney.

His song 'Look Away (Walking Blues)' was recorded by Stephen Pigram on his 2013 album 'Wanderer' and Gallie received a standing ovation when he nailed 'Hurricane' before full houses at Melbourne's annual Bob Dylan tribute BOBFEST.

The 'Occoquan River' has been on high rotation on The International Americana Show broadcast from New York City across 35 States in the USA, and is one of the favourite 2015 albums by an artist from any country for presenter Michael Park. It is now on its fourth print and still selling exceptionally well.
