Funk Dancing For Self Defence are an alternative rock trio from the outer suburbs of Melbourne, their single and EP title track "Twentysomething" debuted at #6 on the Triple J Unearthed overall charts, and #1 on both the rock and punk charts. The band will be releasing their debut EP "Twentysomething" on April 28 at Boney and will be joined by Melbourne party punk rockers / goon enthusiasts Keggin, and indie rockers Cations.

Drawing from bands like Nirvana, Green Day and Queens of the Stone Age, Funk Dancing For Self Defence have been described as "loud, rambunctious, and with the ferocity of John Goodman tearing into a bucket of extra crispy".
