Missed out on Splendour tickets? Secret Sounds are pleased to present a special treat in the form of a triple-bill, with Splendour acts FRIENDS, HOWLER and ZULU WINTER set to soothe any broken-hearted punter. These three buzz bands will join forces at their sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney.

With FRIENDS' Northcote Social Club show on Wednesday July 25 sold out they are moving venues and dates, to now play The Corner Hotel on Tuesday July 24, where they will be joined by HOWLER and ZULU WINTER

FRIENDS' Sydney show is moving from The Standard on Thursday July 26, to Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday July 25, where they will once again team up with HOWLER and ZULU WINTER for another evening of indie fun times.

After blazing out of Bushwick in 2011 with two buzz-worthy singles, 'I'm His Girl'and 'Friend Crush' and a reputation for turning live gigs into spontaneous DIY parties, Brooklyn's FRIENDS will bemaking their debut Australian appearances. FRIENDS' slinky ESG-style polyrhythmic post-disco take on 'tropicool' fronted by the uber-sultry Samantha Urbani will have the dance floor heaving.

Minneapolis' HOWLER are described by Q Magazine as "the latest skinny-jeaned claimants to the indie-rock throne".with rave reviews for their debut album "America Give Up" on both sides of the Atlantic. HOWLER have also made a name for themselves with their impressive live shows and on-stage antics from 19-year-old frontman Jordan Gatesmith.

ZULU WINTER, the band that BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe labeled as the "hottest band in the world" and are tipped by NME, The Fly and Q Magazine as THE band of 2012 will be rounding out the huge lineup of main stage proportions.

All FRIENDS tickets purchased for the Standard show in Sydney on Thursday July 26 will be honoured on Wednesday, July 25 at The Oxford Arts Factory.
