An evening of 60s infused soundscapes featuring The Grapes new single release and Ashley Naylor & The Triad playing music of the Byrds.

The Grapes' self-titled debut album is an indelible Australian pop classic of 1999. Sherry Rich and Ashley Naylor, two cult heroes from the country-pop and rock 'n' roll ends of Melbourne's musical underground had a chance encounter with shared roots decades deep in the beat pop innocence of mid '60s jangle and the timeless sob and sigh of the great country singer-songwriter tradition. A small but perfectly formed masterpiece was born. Sherry split to Nashville for ten years and on her return in 2013 the duo recorded a second album 'Western sun.' Reunited, The Grapes found their psychedelic-country chemistry has grown richer, darker and infinitely deeper. Joined on this night by Doug Lee Robertson on bass/vocals and Steve Pinkerton on drums/vocals this is a rare sighting of The Grapes not to be missed.

Ashley Naylor & The Triad present a live interpretation of the 1967 psych rock masterpiece by The Byrds - Younger Than Yesterday. Classic songs like 'Mr. Spaceman' and 'So You Wanna Be a Rock n roll Star' by Crosby, McGuinn and Hillman featured reverse guitar, B bender, 12 string Rickenbacker and electronic oscillators and delved into themes of extra terrestrial life, acid and metaphysicality. The Triad are Michael Barclay, Rick Plant and Matt Palmer.
