After 3 and a half years of Australian shows and tours off the back of their original home recorded demo and later single release, Filthy Lucre are set to drop their debut 14-track album "MARA" on January 30 at Jive in Adelaide.

Dark, dirty, fuzz-fueled riff-rock with just enough of the blues to get you movin' and groovin'!

The album, recorded in Ashland, Oregon U.S.A. in October with internationally renowned producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince, Johnny Cash), is described as a semi-concept album with all 14 tracks flowing through each other to create an hour-long journey that spans the bands entire career thus far - with influences from their blues roots all the way to heavy desert rock and psychedelic.

Joining Filthy Lucre on the night will be very special guests Silent Duck and Rat Ta'Mango.
