Sydney band Dead In A Second will team up with KARNIVOOL member Steve Judd's new band The Arsonist

These shows will be under the banner Festival In Your Lounge Room. A number of 'special guests' will join the tour at various shows. The idea behind Festival In Your Lounge Room is to present innovative new Australian bands and artists of varying musical styles to create a festival atmosphere in an intimate club environment.

"The idea "Festival in Your Lounge Room" came from wanting to create a festival environment in club size venues. I thought getting a bunch of different style acts could really balance and entertain an audience as apposed to the normal, which is 4-5 hours of similar style bands which everyone's just waiting for the headliner anyways. This is also a great way for acts to play in front of other people who may not usually listen to their genre" - Trizo

Dead In A Second's debut EP 'Maretimo' debuted at #3 on the Australian iTunes Rock Charts in June 2012 with the radio track lifted from the EP 'Streetlight' being added to Radar Rock on the Triple M Network. Since this time, Dead In A Second guitarist Tristan 'Trizo' Bouillaut has been busy writing, recording and mixing a new EP.  Some of these new songs will be heard for the first time on this tour.  "'Maretimo' was a massive learning curve on all levels. From the human side to the musician side to the guy that sits behind the computer recording it. The new DIASrecord is a record i can't wait for people to hear. It is all those three personalities plus a few more" - Trizo

The Arsonist was founded by Louis Rendle-O'Shea and Nic Di Lena.  The project began as two friends with a mutual affinity for pop. After laying down a plethora of songs with a keen focus on melody and distinct pop sensibilities, they decided it was time to expand. In order to reproduce the tracks live, they recruited bassist Tim Collins to arrange and rehearse the material. The final piece was put into place when long time friend and drummer Steve Judd (Karnivool) was added as a permanent member. The band's debut EP 'Disguises' pays homage to pop music that has dominated both dance-floors and airwaves for years, all the while effortlessly creating an original band of upbeat electro-pop that is overtly infectious.  "The Arsonist is really excited to be a part of this unique tour! We are looking forward to sharing the stage with some great bands on such an eclectic bill and can't wait to perform for the east coast audiences." - Steve Judd
