If you haven't experienced Fairbridge Festival then make 2017 your year of discovery! Celebrating its 25th year in 2017, the festival features more of the music and camaraderie that patrons know and love, all packaged up together in a magical four-day escape that will feed your soul from start to finish.

The 25th Fairbridge Festival program is due to be released very shortly. In the meantime, here are a few words from our Artistic Director, Rod Vervest:

With the highest ever number of international artists and a stellar cast of Australian acts, we are set to celebrate the biggest Fairbridge ever!

A quick snapshot of this year's program features a hipster-grass band of young Englishmen, the skipping Sicilian rhythms of accordion-driven folk, a poetic Welsh troubadour, a Quebecois tour de force of brilliant young players, a phenomenal American blues harmonica player, an hilarious dance band that sounds like Flight of the Concords meets Duran Duran and a chamber folk trio of classical virtuosi. Fairbridge Festival, as always, brings a world of musical diversity to our shores.

In a fortuitous quirk of timing - our dear friends of many years, the world-famous Chipolatas, also turn 25 years young. We're planning a great birthday party around their wonderful antics on the street and stage.

Also be on the lookout for a massed brass section (25 horns!), a voodoo show, an expanded Backlot venue, a comedy club, a brand new themed bar near Hoopla, lots of big beardy shanty singing and loads more!

The family-friendly camping festival features up to 100 local, national and international world, folk, blues and roots acts of renown across multiple stages set in a beautiful rural heritage-listed village, all just an hour south of Perth. The much-loved festival also incorporates bespoke youth and children's festivals so there really is something for everyone along with artisan markets, well-being zone, community stalls, workshops, comedy, dance and street theatre.
