  This month, Enough Said Poetry Slam is hosting a heat for the Australian Poetry Slam (APS)! We will be sending our slam winner to Sydney for the NSW Final to slam with poets from communities all over the state. The winner of the APS National Final goes on an international poetry tour! FEATURE POET Big Village's Rapaport

Rapaport is an MC and guitarist who makes introspective rap music inspired by boom bap, Grime, UK Bass, Soul and African beats.
He is the co founder and label manager of Big Village Records, creator and director of improvised hip hop & art theatre show, 'Sketch The Rhyme' and founder & manager of hip hop music education organisation 'School of Rap'.

Rapaport released the Patterns Mixtape in 2013, debut album 'Laughing on the Inside' in 2009, and two albums with hip hop trio 'Loose Change'.

He is currently finishing his forthcoming album due to be released early 2017.

POETRY SLAM RULES
Sign up at the door when you arrive.

Everyone is welcome, from bedroom poets to experienced performers.

2 min time limit, no props or costumes, jump up on stage with a mic and share your original poems, stories, raps and monologues with a live and engaged audience.

Random people from the audience become the judges and the highest scoring poet wins! 1st, 2nd & 3rd place PRIZES to be awarded!

But remember: The points are not the point, the point is poetry!
