Finally making their anticipated return to the stage at Vivid LIVE, visionary music pioneers Empire of the Sun will be premiering tracks from their new album Ice on the Dune along with classics from their award-winning debut album Walking On A Dream, with two spectacular concerts set to transport audiences into a new adventure within their singular, psychedelic universe.

In 2008, Empire Of The Sun created a vision that seemed to come from an alternative reality. Walking On A Dream, went on to sell a million-plus copies worldwide and contained the singles "We Are The People," "Walking On A Dream," "Standing on the Shore," "Without You" and "Half-Mast." Eight ARIA awards (including Album of The Year) and two BRIT nominations (including Best International Album) followed.

The Empire live show became the highlight of many summer festivals worldwide with its larger-than-life production featuring stunning visuals, dancing swordfish girls, cryo-bazookas and otherworldly special effects. SPIN praised the band's 2011 USA Coachella Festival performance, observing: "The easiest way to blast off wasn't with MDMA, LSD, peyote, or any other mind-expanding drug. It was with sci-fi Australian dance outfit Empire of the Sun, whose set at the Outdoor Theatre was out of this world."

Now ending their mysterious hiatus with 'Discovery' - the beginning of a series of ambitious video collaborations, Vivid LIVE welcomes Empire of the Sun back into a musical journey that is set to reignite the music sphere all over again.
