Drawing Children - still life 5+ (thu): autumn 2017
Fun 1 day workshop for kids to learn basic drawing techniques.
13 April 2017 9am - 5pm
In this inspiring 1 day drawing workshop with artist Jane Caveney, kids will learn about composition, line, positive and negative space and overlapping shapes to create a variety of still life drawings.
Drawings will be inspired by the beautiful works of artist Michael Craig-Martian, whose simple conceptual drawings and paintings of everyday objects are exhibited in galleries around the world.
Kids will draw many different compositions of everyday objects in the studio using a variety of materials to create their own still life drawings and water colour paintings to take home.
All materials are provided
Suitable for children 5-8 years old
Maximum 10 children
Bring: Lunch, morning and afternoon tea and a water bottle
Wear: Old clothes
