Can you believe it's been 4 decades since you first heard April Sun in Cuba on the radio? Come to The Basement in Sydney on the 6th of April and the Chelsea Heights Hotel in Melbourne on the 21st of April and help Dragon Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the release of their iconic song April Sun In Cuba in 1977.

A song that is part of the soundtrack of everyone's life needs a birthday party on turning 40.

Original Dragon, Todd Hunter says "We recorded April Sun in Melbourne in early 1977. We were recovering from a bad car accident that was a very close call for Robert Taylor and Paul Hewson. We recorded it in ATV studios. When we were recording the back track I distinctly remember looking around the studio and thinking what's wrong with this picture?. We were a bunch of bedraggled, bandaged and neck braced casualties who were recording this bright and shiny pop song. I think that more or less sums up the 70s for us. We had no idea then that it was a hit, or that we would be celebrating it's longevity 40 years later."

This show is a celebration of a song that will live on long after we are gone.
