When people discuss three-piece riff rockers, Dallas Frasca, the metaphors are big and unapologetic. Front woman Dallas’ colossal stage presence and devastating vocals are equally matched by the monumentally unmistakable guitar tones of Jeff Curran and trademark gargantuan hitter, Zane Rosanoski on drums

'Lizard Boy' (due out on iTunes on March 17th) is the first track to be lifted from Dallas Frasca's forthcoming 3rd album "Love Army" and recorded by legendary Aussie producer, Lindsay Gravina at Birdland Studios in Prahran, Melbourne. Lindsay has worked with some of Australia's best rock n roll acts including, Cosmic Psychos, The Living End, Spiderbait, Eskimo Joe, Jet, & Adalita). The new record, 'Love Army' will see the band go to uncharted songwriting terrains and represent everything the band believes in lyrically and musically. They head out on the road during Apr/May around Australia in support of the new single, you can find info here: www.dallasfrasca.com

Dallas Frasca are part of the 'new wave' of Aussie rock bands having success internationally. They spent almost half of their year touring Europe in 2013 (performing to over 50,000+ strong crowd at Le Mans in France), and yet they still managed to find the time to write material for the new record. The band lived in a small apartment in Pigalle (red light district of Paris) where Love Army began to take shape, molded by the band's adventures and experiences from haunted 16th century French mansions to grimy basement cubicles in Soho, London, from wandering the halls of the Louvre in Paris to the more familiar campfire bush bashes in QLD.

'Lizard Boy' is a politically charged beast and the collective consciousness of the entire band aligned. We decided to release 'Lizard Boy' a little earlier than we planned, as it is so relevant about our current political climate. This song is a voice for the people, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like we are being misrepresented with many of the present issues we are facing in this country. Music can have such a powerful and positive impact on the listener; I recently read an interview with Rob Hirst (Midnight Oil) asking where had all the protest bands gone? Well I personally cannot sit back and watch this happen in our lifetime, we've had enough, here is your protest song Rob, 'It's time to for us to rise.' "

In Dallas' words; "We chose the right man for the job to produce our latest record. Lindsay Gravina is the legend in progressive fuzz rock and garage movements in Australia is still pushing limits far and beyond today. 'The 'Prince of Darkness' as they call him, took the wheel of his spaceship designed studio designed and steered the bands sounds into the deepest depths of the universe. It felt like we were on LSD most of the time inside Birdland Studio's spaceship capsule. 50's Sci-Fi movies were being played on the big screen during our takes and the planets outside the windows made us feel like we were in another dimension, such an incredible experience."

The band have invited their fans/supporters to join and help to contribute money in exchange for rewards to help them release their new record, 'Love Army'. See here: www.pozible.com/lovearmy.
