We're incredibly psyched today present the second party in I OH YOU's 'COMING UP, NOT DOWN' series! We'll be throwing down a full venue takeover on Friday June 29th at Sydney's beloved Oxford Art Factory and have again brought together some of the most exciting acts in Australia to play a FREE party for you.

Having released their incredible debut album 'You Work For Us', These New South Whales have gone on to release a critically acclaimed follow up web series via Comedy Central which captured the hearts of the nation and beyond. Expect sure-to-be new favourites and old jams from the Sydney four-piece that could when they headline COMING UP, NOT DOWN.

Sydney's Body Type have had a belter of a year. They took our Best Live Act & Next Big Thing at the FBI Smac Awards and have toured with the likes of POND, Frankie Cosmos, Alex Cameron & many more. Their latest single 'Arrow' perfectly embodies the potent brand of lo-fi, scuzz rock we've grown to adore from them. Expect big, ferocious things when they hit the stage for us!

Sydney four-piece Mere Women are an explosive live act you need to see. Their third LP Big Skies continued to explore new structures in greater depth with their collaborative writing process, with the result of finding new ways of expressing and writing popular music through post-punk. They work to actively break barriers and predictable, unimaginative musical structures that reinforce the status quo of male dominated popular music. Come get lost with us when they play COMING UP, NOT DOWN.

In case that wasn't enough, hitting the gallery stage for some sweaty live sets are the likes of Moaning Lisa, TOTTY, Leroy Francis & Bored Shorts along with I OH YOU DJs & Volumes DJs bringing it home until the wee hours.

Having been first conceived out of the house party scene in Melbourne back in 2009, I OH YOU's aim has always been to introduce new, exciting and talented musical projects to their immediate friendship circle, Australia and the world. This passion has lead the brand to signing & releasing artists such as Violent Soho, DMA'S, DZ Deathrays and City Calm Down through their label + touring acts like SOHN, Lapsley, Shamir, Kelsey Lu, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Royal Blood etc.

Over the years the friends from I OH YOU have also collated a mix tape series called 'COMING UP, NOT DOWN', which simply featured some of their favourite new bands from around Australia - artists that featured on the tapes include Jagwar Ma, Ta-Ku and Dune Rats. Come June 29th, I OH YOU brings you the next realisation of this series - a full venue takeover party with you, your friends and the next wave of Australian talent.
