For three years City Calm Down have honed their sound into an impressive mix of haunting vocal melodies, grimy synth sounds and charging bass lines, all of which combine to create the dark pop songs showcased on the "Movements" EP.

Their individuality and skill has not gone unnoticed over the past few years, resulting in them being invited to share stages with acts such as Faithless, Miami Horror, Bag Raiders, Last Dinosaurs and also open the main stage of Good Vibrations 2011 in Melbourne.

The band have bunkered down with producer (and our good friend!) Malcolm Besley (Snakadaktal, Gold Fields) to track and mix the forthcoming EP, which will be released on 2nd November 2012 through I OH YOU.
