** Sunday, 19th March Line Up **

Ceres:

Stories from the inner city, mixing elements of alternative indie,
pop-rock and 90s emo. CERES drag inspiration from the rivers, roads
and relationships that colour their town, failing loves and dragging
months.

The Pretty Littles:

We have played some good gigs, some bad gigs, recorded some good songs and lots of bad songs, met some good people and lots of bad ones, got a little better at writing and playing songs, had lots of laughs and a couple of arguments, kissed no girls and then got girlfriends, went to uni and then finished uni or started uni again, we visited some good parts of Australia and also some bad ones and also some weird ones, we did serious interviews and stupid ones, we got nervous and felt relaxed, we felt rundown and we felt energised and we got to play with some of our heroes.

It's now been nearly 10 years with the same lineup. That's Simon Boyd on energised guitar, Will Batrouney on the drum machine, Jono Gooley on the electric bass and me, Jack on the singing.

Jacob:

Jacob takes all of the band's moving parts - its use of multiple vocalists, a versatile approach to genre and an ear for well-timed shifts in dynamic - and sees their potential realised at their highest level yet. "You're Not That Cool" and "Girls in White Dresses" are both exemplary of their sharp, succinct and hook-heavy approach. Elsewhere, Jacob builds from quiet introspection to up-front honesty on "Just Like You," while acoustic detours such as "You're So Cool" and "Proud" allow for exploration of a wider musical spectrum while simultaneously refusing to compromise on their fever-pitch energy levels.
