TERM 1 Pressing, shaping and joining of simple thumb pots to make stylised human, animal or abstract forms. Learning about structural properties, joining, and ceramic form. The kids start to think about the properties and limits of the material, ideas and thoughts behind creative process. We will look at the surface treatments of brush on clay slips and sgraffito. Material: White Raku class size: 10 Tutor: Hayley West Must wear closed toe shoes & an apron is a good idea.
