We're stoked to be welcoming Sydney songstress BEC SANDRIDGE to the Cats family as part of a huuuge national tour after the release of her new EP 'In The Fog'.

'In The Fog' is a collection of 5 songs that exemplify Bec's incredible range as an artist and songwriter. Title track and radio favourite 'In The Fog, In The Flame' opens the EP with a bang, followed by the highly stylized disco-pulses of 'You're A Fucking Joke'. Woozy daydreamer 'High Tide' is the perfect mid-point, taking the listener to a softer place with a heartfelt rendition of Roy Orbison's 'I Drove All Night' and closing with the gentle melodies of 'I Keep Running Back'. Expect a glorious and captivating live show from Bec and her band!

The past couple of years have been quite a journey for the young artist. With humble beginnings busking on the streets between Wollongong and Glasgow, a fortunate meeting with fellow buskers Passenger and Stu Larsen prompted Bec to defer uni and join them on their UK tour, cementing her decision to pursue a life in music. In 2015, Bec released the Tony Buchan (Andy Bull, The Preatures) produced single (and lead track of the new EP) 'In The Fog, In The Flame' to an insatiable response. Shortly after, she was the winner of Triple J Unearthed, played Yours & Owls Festival, opened the stage at Newtown Festival and has toured with Little May and Half Moon Run.

2016 has been a pivotal year for Bec. The past six months in particular have seen a signing to Wollongong label Farmer and the Owl, heavy airplay on triple j and community radio, a myriad of shows including main support for Montaigne and Cub Sport on their national tours and a standout appearance at BIGSOUND. This summer will include appearances at Fairgrounds Festival, Mountain Sounds Festival, Ozfest, supports for Highasakite and The Rubens and much more.

+ Supports TBA.
