'Miss December' - new EP and Tour

Dedicated followers of Castlecomer will know that in 2012 the band released their debut EP, Danny's Den, and supported the release with their solid work ethic and countless gigs building the name Castlecomer around the country.

In fact they've now played well over 500 shows - and destroyed two Taragos in the process!

July 2013 saw the release of their second EP Lone Survivor - and once again with a mammoth list of live shows - quickly proved to be an indie hit. The track "Forrest" was shortlisted for the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, while single "Rosie" topped triple j's Unearthed Chart and was picked up by music blogs and reviewers across the country.

Now comes EP number three, Miss December.

For those of you yet to discover Castlecomer, they are a band of brothers and cousins who have been honing their craft over the last two years through endless touring and song-writing to bring you their newest and best product in the form of their latest EP. This is a excellent example of the direction that the band are heading in for their future releases and an exciting sign of what's to come.

Their live show is not one to miss. See them on tour this December for a fun, loud, sweaty night out filled with songs that you will not be able to get out of your head.

Recorded earlier this year with acclaimed producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tony Buchen (The Preatures, Tim Finn, Andy Bull), the new EP contains the brand new single and title track 'Miss December', plus earlier single 'Fugitive'. It also includes 2014 remixes of 'Forrest' and 'Rosie'.
