Sydney based artist BUOY (Charmian Kingston) released "Took Me Up" and "Don't Want To See You" earlier this year to rave support across Australian and international online and radio outlets.

She now unveils her debut EP, Immersion; a 4 track release that explores the space between ethereal pop through to the darker shades of ambient electronic music. With use of textured synths, intricate sampling and her striking vocal work, BUOY explores a sense of space and intimacy through her own unique framework.

Having already received strong support from online outlets such as Pigeons & Planes, Clash Magazine, Oyster, Indie Shuffle, and Pilerats (amongst others), you might have heard both singles across radio stations from around the world - BBC Radio, triple j, KCRW, FBi & Triple R to name a few.

Counting ODESZA, Jagwar Ma, Belle & Sebastian, Digitalism, Samantha Ronson, Tensnake & Joakim amongst her quickly swelling fans, BUOY's live show is at once both intimate and expansive - a daring soundscape that immerses the audience in a wall of sound.
