Kelly Day and Jane Hendry are Broads. With a celebrated EP under their belt, a list of collaborators including Big Smoke, Cash Savage and Henry Wagons, and a live show just as hypnotic in intimate Melbourne venues as on the festival stages of Boogie, Woodford and Cygnet, Broads are a band continually escalating their creative powers.
Now about to hit the road in support of "Nod Off, Dream", the first single from their long anticipated album Vacancy (due out early 2017), Broads will be backed for the first time by a crack band including members of Big Smoke and Wallflower.
Broads will launch the single in Melbourne at The Toff in Town on 12 November, with Alex O'Gorman on bass, Luke Brennan on drums, Matt Dixon and Dan Lethbridge on electric guitars. With support from very special guests Baby Blue and Matt Wicking, the night promises to be completely lush.
