Before they join Taking Back Sunday and The Used on two of their SOLD OUT Australian shows this August, rock act BREAKAWAY have released their brand new single 'Invincible'.

In support of "Invincible", BREAKAWAY will be embarking on an Australian east coast tour playing a handful of intimate AA shows as well as selected club shows. Joining them will be pop punkers Our Past Days who have enjoyed a wave of success with an honest and raw sound. "'Invincible' is about learning that you don't need to depend on anyone else to get by in life.Self-dependency is what will give you the strength to carry on," according to singer and lyricist Sam Biland. June 25th, 2014 -

Since BREAKAWAY's formation in 2012, this five-piece rock act has hit the ground running. Their first two singles collectively saw success through national radio airplay, TV airplay through RAGE and an addition into MTV's 'Most Wanted' playlist, resulting in the band clocking in over 100,000 views on their YouTube channel combined. The subsequent EP 'One Minute One Moment', recorded at Electric Sun Studios by Dave Petrovic (Tonight Alive, Northlane, Pop Goes Punk) also reached over 10,000 downloads.

After extensive touring within Australia and supporting the likes of Flyleaf (USA), The Almost (USA), Closure in Moscow, Darren Cordeux of Kisschasy, Hands like Houses and more, BREAKAWAY finished last year as part of Purevolume's Top Ten Unsigned Bands of 2013 and are currently writing for their debut album. 2014 has already brought high expectations for the band, receiving praise from Alternative Press Magazine in their '100 Bands You Need To Know This Year' edition. With a completely revamped live set incorporating a selection of songs off the EP and brand new unreleased songs, BREAKAWAY are set to make a lasting impression.
