Cockatoo Island Film Festival, Cockatoo Island, NSW
This event has passed and sales are now closed
This amazing outdoor event will see two of Australia's finest live acts take to the stage on Sydney's spectacular Cockatoo Island with the lights of the harbour as their backdrop.
Bluejuice
Straight outta Sydney, Bluejuice's infectious brand of pop blasted rock 'n' roll and their energetic live performances have earned them an indomitable reputation one of the most unforgettable live shows to be found in Australia today.
Jinja Safari
Named after the East African town of Jinja in Uganda, Jinja Safari are renowned nationally for their energetic live shows and African-inspired dreamy folk pop. Formed in early 2010 by founding members Marcus Azon & Cameron 'Pepa' Knight who met at a beach party on the NSW central coast, the duo initially bounced ideas back and forth via email before recording their debut EP over a few weekends. 2010 saw them shoot to fame almost instantly - by June they had received high rotation airplay on both Triple J and BBC's Radio 6, as well as winning the 2010 Triple J Unearthed competition awarding them a spot at Splendour in the Grass and support slots for Art Vs Science in August.
